A Day at Butterfly Palace!
Since moving to Branson, I’ve been wanting to go to the Butterfly Palace to see all the wonderful, beautiful butterflies they have. Today, Allan and I finally got to take time to do it. It was the season for Paper White butterflies, and there was an abundance of them flitting about.
One of the best things about the excursion, though, was the live angel statue in the middle of the garden. She was awesome. Small children would come and touch her, people would gather around making comments, and she NEVER lost her composure. She just kept repositioning herself slowly every couple minutes, as if she was one of those table statues that move robotically.
It was a good day, away from the stresses of work and all that goes with that. I wish I could have remained there for several days, absorbing the peace and quiet and the beauty of all God has created.
