More Hummer Thoughts

In the lateness of this afternoon, I watched silently as the usual hummers visited my feeders again. It never ceases to amaze me how adept these slight creatures are. I love to listen to their chirping…a constant chatter that begs to question what they are saying to each other.

I decide to capture a moment–again–of these wonderful little birds. After retrieving my camera I stepped into position and waited until they clustered around the feeder once more. They are more or less accustomed to me now, even buzzing right up to my camera lens to check me out. I move slowly so as not to frighten them, but they are confident in their skills to quickly move out of my way and, with attitude, buzz away from me if I move suddenly.

Such tiny companions who bring such joy! Thank You, Lord, for sending these amazing creatures to inspire me!
