I love – absolutely love – bird photography. I enjoy capturing all kinds of species, but I especially love the big birds. Recently a couple herons have taken up residence in the pond located in my apartment complex. One is older but there is also a baby that spooks a little quicker and he flits away quickly upon approach. They come flying in on their long wings, keeping close to the water’s edge when they land.
